Company history
Videomagnetics, Inc. was founded in 1976 as a premier, cost
effective alternative to original replacement parts. Supplying
broadcast and video production companies world wide, we have set the
standard in quality materials, workmanship, customer service, and
support.
Achievements:
| 1976 | Introduced refurbished Quadruplex video heads for all Ampex and RCA video recorders. |

Supplied multi-track stationary heads for Jet Propulsion Laboratories for recording earth-land movements from space. |
| 1987 | Introduced refurbished Ampex 1” C video heads. |
| 1988 | Introduced refurbished Sony and Hitachi upper drums. Introduced refurbished Sony ¾” U-matic upper drums. |
| 1990 | Under contract from Ampex Inc. to supply refurbished Quadruplex heads. |
| 1991 | Under contract with Ampex Inc. to supply refurbished 1” Type “C” scanner assemblies. |
| 1993 | Complete Sony 1” type C scanner assemblies |
| 1995 | Introduced refurbished Betacam SP upper drums. |
| 1996 | Awarded "Exporter of the Year" in Colorado from the Small Business Administration. |
| 1997 | Introduced various parts for the Sony Betacam VTR'S. |
| 1999 |
Introduced complete scanner assemblies for Sony Betacam SP. |
| 2000 |
Introduced video tape recorder maintenance and repair. |
